Wizdom Financial
A client-focused financial advisory firm helping individuals and families navigate debt, protect their assets and build a stronger financial future.
Practical planning, delivered with care
Wizdom Financial blends practical planning with compassionate guidance, giving clients clear, step-by-step strategies rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.
We educate people on the three ways to get out of debt in Canada, a consumer proposal, bankruptcy, and an Orderly Payment of Debts, and we help you work out which one genuinely fits your income, your assets and where you live.
We are not a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, and we never pretend otherwise. Only an LIT can file a consumer proposal or a bankruptcy. What we do is evaluate, plan, prepare, coordinate with the trustee, and stay with you through the process and long after it ends.
How we work
Three commitments that shape every conversation.
- Clarity
- Plain language, real numbers, and the trade-offs stated openly. You should be able to explain your own plan to someone else by the time we are done.
- Compassion
- No scare tactics, no lectures, no shame. People arrive at their lowest point and deserve to be met with composure rather than judgement.
- Practical planning
- Budgets built on your actual living costs, systems that survive a hard month, and a plan for the years after the debt is gone.
Abigail Danyk
People arrive at their lowest expecting a lecture. What they need is a plan, and someone who will sit with them while they work it.
As part of Wizdom Financial, Abigail Danyk is passionate about walking with people through some of the most difficult seasons of their lives, whether that means overwhelming debt, a sudden loss of income, or a major life transition.
She brings a calm, non-judgmental approach to every conversation, helping clients feel heard, understood and empowered as they move from financial crisis toward confidence and stability.
Wisdom, with a Z
The name is a deliberate misspelling, and the shield explains itself once you know what to look for.
- The Z
- Wisdom is the promise. The Z makes it a name rather than a claim, and it is where the dollar signs sit in the shield.
- The owl
- The traditional emblem of wisdom, and the one piece of the mark that is always awake. It sits above the wordmark on every page of this site.
- The maple leaf
- These are Canadian solutions under Canadian federal law. The leaf is a reminder that the rules, and the protections, are specific to this country.
- The shield
- A stay of proceedings is genuine legal protection. The shield stands for the part of this process that stops the calls.
